2026年5月18日、日本民藝館にて国内初上映が行われました。

音楽制作にあたっては、日本の民謡や俗謡を思わせる旋律、西洋的なヴァイオリンソロ、電子音響音楽がせめぎ合う構成により、古きものと新しきものが混在する空間を表現しています。

This documentary film introduces international audiences to the work and philosophy of Japanese ceramic artist Kawai Kanjiro. Its Japanese premiere was held at the Japan Folk Crafts Museum on May 18, 2026.

The score juxtaposes melodies evocative of Japanese folk and popular songs with Western-style solo violin and electroacoustic music, creating a sonic space in which the old and the new coexist and contend with one another.
