2025年日本国際博覧会（大阪・関西万博）石黒浩・シグネチャーパビリオン「いのちの未来」にて、JUN MUSICがパビリオン内の空間音響デザインを担当いたしました。
パビリオンの展示空間は3つのゾーンで構成されています。導入部となる「いのちの歩み」ゾーンでは、太古の昔から現代に至るまで、日本人が「モノ」にいのちを宿してきた歴史を展示しています。続く「50年後の未来」ゾーンで展開されるのは50年後の未来。人間がアンドロイド達と共存し、高度な技術を用いたさまざまなプロダクトを活用しながら暮らす様子を、物語の中に入って追体験できます。「1000年後のいのち“まほろば”」ゾーンでは、1000年後の世界をイメージした音と光に包まれた幻想的な空間の中で、科学技術と融合し、「からだ」の制約から解き放たれた1000年後の人間と出会うことができます。
パビリオン内の音響は株式会社ハートス、株式会社丹青社による緻密な音場設計が成され、JUN MUSICは骨伝導イヤフォン、マルチチャンネルスピーカー、超指向性スピーカー、振動スピーカー、アンドロイド搭載スピーカーを併用した新しい空間音響デザイン（イマーシブ・サウンドデザイン）によって、ご来館の皆様に聴覚や触覚を通じて未来を体感いただく音コンテンツを提供いたしました。劇中音楽はCHOCOLATE Inc.の大木嵩雄（作曲家）、マツザカタクミ（音楽ディレクター）両氏が制作しました。
At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, JUN MUSIC was responsible for the immersive audio design within “The Future of Life,” the signature pavilion curated by Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro.
The pavilion is composed of three distinct exhibition zones.
The first, “The Evolution of Life”, serves as an introduction, showcasing the history of how the Japanese people have imbued inanimate objects with life and spirit, from ancient times to the present day.
The next zone, “Fifty Years into the Future,” offers an experiential narrative of a world 50 years from now, where humans coexist with androids and live daily lives supported by advanced technologies and diverse products. Finally, in the “Mahoroba: Life One Thousand Years from Now” zone, visitors enter a dreamlike space filled with sound and light, where they encounter human beings one thousand years in the future—transcending physical limitations through the integration of cutting-edge science and technology.
The pavilion’s sound environment was designed with meticulous acoustic planning by HeartS Co., Ltd. and Tanseisha Co., Ltd. Building upon this foundation, JUN MUSIC provided a new kind of immersive audio experience using a combination of bone conduction earphones, multi-channel speakers, ultrasonic directional speakers, and vibration speakers.
Through this hybrid approach, we delivered sound content that allowed visitors to physically and sensorially engage with the future through both hearing and touch.
The music featured in the exhibition was composed by Takao Ogi (composer) and Takumi Matsuzaka (music director) of CHOCOLATE Inc.
